What do you enjoy most about the work you do?

The ability to be supported by an amazing group of humans who all strive for greatness on a multitude of levels.

What successful strategies have you used that have helped you transition to working in a non-traditional industry?

Having a good support network, saying yes to all opportunities presented to me and sharing my passion to widen the landscape of women’s football.

How did you get started in your career pathway and what helped you along your career journey?

The inaugural Christies Beach u16s program was my entry level into football, which I decided to embark on with the support of family. From there, it was the sense of achievement, passion and community I had gained that has helped me get to where I am today.

What or who has influenced your career pathway?

My dad is the reason I play football, the belief and support he gave me was a massive driving factor. The introduction of clear and consistent female football pathways has furthermore allowed me to pursue my career.

In school what subjects did you enjoy most or were good at?

A balance of English, Phys Ed and mathematics gave me a great sense of achievement throughout school.

What did you want to be or do when you left school. How does this compare with where you are now?

I was fairly uncertain of my future after school. I knew I always wanted to make the highest level of football, however education wise I knew my passion in sport and community would assist my tertiary choices. Currently completing a diploma in sports management as well as playing SANFLW for South Adelaide, I can say that I am working hard towards my goals.

Your opportunities are limitless!! If you truly love and want to strive for your passions and dreams, do everything in your power to do so.
