Heimy is a Graduate Engineer at Gamuda Australia, working on the Sydney Metro West – Western Tunnelling Package. Heimy is a recent graduate of Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), major in Civil, obtained First Class Honours and the University Medal. Heimy is currently a 7News Young Achiever Awards Finalist and People’s Choice Awardee, Nominee of Engineers Australia’s Emerging Professional Engineer of the Year, Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Awardee in Engagement and Sustainability, Women in STEM Education Champion, and Emerging Designer of the Year Awardee.  Heimy, is available via ZOOM (or equivalent) as inspiring speaker, for mentoring, or workshop sessions helping students understand skills needed to work in her industry.

Heimy is a Graduate Engineer at Gamuda Australia, working on the Sydney Metro West – Western Tunnelling Package. Heimy is a recent graduate of Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), major in Civil, at Western Sydney University, where she obtained First Class Honours and the University Medal. She is currently an Undergraduate and Graduate Sub-Committee member of Young Engineers Australia Sydney and a committee member of Women in Nuclear Australia. Heimy is currently a 7News Young Achiever Awards Finalist and People’s Choice Awardee, Nominee of Engineers Australia’s Emerging Professional Engineer of the Year, Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Awardee in Engagement and Sustainability, Women in STEM Education Champion, and Emerging Designer of the Year Awardee. She also has been featured in various articles, podcasts, panels, and events where she is celebrated for her contribution towards gender equity in the field of STEM, especially Engineering. Lastly, Heimy is an active volunteer in various schools throughout NSW, where she speaks to the youth and mentors them about breaking boundaries and following your dreams.’
